A Novel Physical Therapy Approach for Grade 2 Degenerative Arthritis A Case Report

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease of the joint characterized by reduced space, osteophyte formation, and subchondral sclerosis bone. Due to sedentary lifestyle, incidence osteoarthritis increasing. In initial stages OA, mild reduction in space with or without formation seen on X-ray. Pain stiffness are main findings this stage. case report, we presented 60 years female patient having pain right knee for since2 which was intermittent. One month back, her got aggravated. Because this, she not able do household work. Came AVBRH treatment. Physiotherapy assessment done according x-ray correlating Kallgren Lawrence classification; grade 2 knee. treatment using contrast bath therapy Otago exercise program started showing significant improvement symptoms.
